Batch1 VH001 Created 9/16/09 @10:20p Update 10/18/09

My first batch of mead has been fermenting for a little over a month now... it is still bubbling nicely and a good layer of sediment has settled to the bottom... I will likely rack this batch in another month to get it off the sediment... I will likely add another orange and and raisins to the racked mead so it will continue to ferment... I am still trying to decide how to handle that and will be seeking the council of some mead makers for their opinions...  I will post a picture of the gallon of mead soon...
